The advantage of self-made lip gloss is that you can customize your favorite smells, tastes and colors. Lip gloss is easy to make, and the cost is very low. With a little money, you can hoard a lot of it for yourself and your friends. Here's how to use mint to make cool mint oil lip gloss.
Prepare raw materials. This kind of lip gloss needs a little more preparation, but it pays off! You have to prepare the following natural ingredients in advance:
2 tablespoons of coconut oil
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon of crushed beeswax
5 drops of mint oil
Get the container ready. This lip gloss solidifies very fast, so keep the container at hand and pour it in once it's ready. You can use a small lipstick box or tube, or a small glass can.
Melt beeswax in water. Beeswax is very hard at room temperature, but when melted and mixed with other raw materials, it produces the same luster and texture as you want wax. The crushed beeswax is heated in water to melt completely.
Mix with other raw materials. Add coconut oil and olive oil to beeswax, stir well with a spoon, add mint oil, and stir again.
If you want a softer, oilier lip gloss, add a spoonful of coconut oil.
If you want a lighter mint flavor, add 2-3 drops of mint oil.
Pour the mixture into the container. Carefully pour into the prepared box or tube, and wash the pan immediately, otherwise the lip gloss will solidify inside.
Static. It can be used when it's completely cooled. It usually takes 2 hours or overnight.
